The Best Kids Films Ever Made
“The Secret Garden” is one of the greatest kids films ever made. It tells the story of an ornery young girl who is sent to live with her uncle in England, and who helps a mysterious garden come to life in the process. In the process, she begins to come to life herself.
Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory
Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory combines magic with a serious moral. The cruel treatment of the winning children by Willy Wonka makes the film hilarious while at the same time opening the viewer’s eyes. Gene Wilder’s portrayal of the evil confectionery maker was a natural fit.
Willy Wonka is a candy maker and lives in a factory with some of the most amazing confections. His candy bars contain five golden tickets, and if you find one, you can spend an entire day at the chocolate factory. The lucky recipients are given a lifetime supply of free chocolate! While this sounds like a dream come true, Charlie Bucket is a poor boy and doesn’t have much money.
Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory has a few flaws, but it’s still one of the best children’s films ever. Although the film is generally faithful to the original book, it does omit the two chaperones who were part of the original book. It also cuts down on the number of actors in the film in order to save money.
Aladdin
Aladdin is a 1992 American animated film produced by Walt Disney Feature Animation and directed by Ron Clements. Based on a traditional Arabic folktale, this film is a rousing tale of adventure and discovery. Among its many memorable characters is Aladdin, an impoverished street urchin who uses his magic lamp to transform into a rich prince and win the love of Princess Jasmine. In the film, Aladdin must also deal with the evil vizier Jafar, who wants to steal Aladdin’s lamp to marry the princess.
The film follows Aladdin’s journey as he tries to free the Genie from his captor, Jafar, who has turned himself into an old man by stealing the lamp. Aladdin’s journey ultimately takes him to a magic carpet inside a cave. There, he manages to get the lamp, but first he tries to find Jasmine’s lost jewel. Then, he tries to make his third wish to free Jafar from his servitude.
George of the Jungle
If you’re looking for a kids film that delivers a unique blend of humor and fantasy, look no further than George of the Jungle. This 1997 live-action movie based on the cartoon series stars Brendan Fraser as George, Leslie Mann as Ursula, and John Cleese as the Ape. It’s one of the best live-action films based on an animated TV show.
As an added bonus, the film’s animated credits are drawn in the style of the original cartoon series, complete with the infamous Animation Bump. It was directed by Bob Kurtz, who directed the opening sequence of Jurassic Park and the Animated Credits Opening of The Pink Panther (2006). In addition, the vines in “Georgeies” are impossibly fast and George’s flying piledriver is an actual elbow drop.
Coco
The animated film Coco is one of the most beautifully produced films of all time. Its story is based on the Mexican culture and celebrates the holiday Dia de los Muertos, or the Day of the Dead. It follows the story of Miguel, a young Mexican boy who celebrates the holiday with his family. He lives with his family and his great-grandmother, Mama Coco. The film features music by Michael Giacchino and an original song.
Coco has won the hearts of families and critics alike. Its powerful storyline is emotionally affecting and reaffirms the importance of family. Even though it contains a few scary moments, it is a great film for the whole family. It also reinforces important values such as love, forgiveness, and using your talents to help others.
